We decided to have a party for many reasons, but mainly for Olivia's first birthday so our family could contribute to her memory box. Our house is so tiny that there wasn't a whole lot of space but I think people had a good enough time. We ordered a fiesta platter from Azteca which was super yummy. It was great to catch-up with people.

Friends that came:
Renee, Victor, and Annabelle
Todd, Sharon, and Sophia
Grammy and Papa
Tahnee, Geoff, Langston, and Emerson
Toby, Debbie, Stuart, Wesley, and Henry
Autumn, Elvir, and Kaylee
Carmela (later)

Point Defiance Zoo Lights

Isabelle and I on the carrousel

Gabriella picked the seal

I loved this tree!

Polar bear with Mt. Rainier in the back

We through the kids in the car at the last minute and drove to Tacoma to see the Zoo Lights. I always wanted to go and it was pretty cool... no rain and it wasn't cold either. The girls really liked seeing the animals, especially the fish in the aquarium.

Isabelle's school CIBA (Children's-International-Bilingual-Academy) had a winter performance and it was super cute! The nursery class had a "Fairies and super-heroes" theme. They sang songs and danced around. Isabelle gave me a shout-out in the middle of the performance saying, "Hi mommy!" Love her. We went out to lunch afterwards-- so worth the day off work to spend it with my sweet middle girl.

We celebrated Thanksgiving twice... On Thanksgiving Day we had Chef Wong cook us dinner and had some friends over, which was fun. The following Saturday, we went to a potluck Thanksgiving party at Kelly and Hadleigh's. Lots going on but it was good. I made GF pumpkin pie for the party, which Gabby especially loved.

I LOVE Halloween in our hood. So many houses, so much candy, and so little time. We left with a crew of people at 5 and we got back around 6:15 and had dinner, watched "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and passed out candy. Good times!

Tree-Trimming

Who says November 17th is too early for a tree??? For my birthday weekend I wanted to put the tree up, so my kiddies and hubby got to work and made it happen. Its been a challenging year so decorating for Christmas helps. It just makes you feel better!
