A great big thanks to the most talented, supportive, funny, and kick ass best friend a girl could... BETH ZARLING. She took these pictures for us and did such a nice job capturing the moment... Love that girl.

Isabelle is 18 Months
It's crazy how much you love your kids and Isabelle is no exception... As with most 18 month old toddlers, she's "on-the-go" all the time and has now rendered the nickname "Busy Izzy."
Here are some highlights:
- Dancing, dancing, and more dancing!!! She hears music and this girl moves and grroves. I have to say, she's got some rythym!
- She's now going up and down the stairs-- still a little bumpy going down, but she's getting better.
- Playing by herself longer and getting into "Little People" toys
- Sort of watching more TV
- Understanding more and more. She still says, "xie xie" all the time and is getting other people to say it with her (cousin Wesley and Harper)
- She LOVES to eat hotdogs, mac and cheese, and fruit snacks (which I call baby crack)
- Makes faces so that she can get a laugh from people
- She seems to be such a happy girl and a total lovebug. She has cuddled-up to many people, even non-family members.
- She loves babies and likes to touch them.
- She giggles when she's about to eat soemthign she likes or when we put her to bed when she's super tired.

Gabby the Rock Climber!
Ben, the instructor. Nice guy
After the Fort Columbia trip, we went to the REI flagship store (spent WAY too much, as always) and Gabby had her first rock climbing experience... I wasn't sure at first, but the minimum age was five and she was super excited about it so we gave it a try. She was a natural and climbed all the way to the top. In fact, we had to tell her to come back down because she wanted to keep going! No fear with this girl.

Her Badge and Patch
Laughter, noisy kids, games, a big house, yummy food, and good conversation... a Tebo tradition has been born! We rented the Scarborough House at Fort Columbia State Park near which is right across from Astoria, OR. We had a great time but quickly realized that two nights is not long enough... The highlight for Gabriella was going to Fort Clatsop and learning about nature and earning her Junior Ranger patch and of course-- spending time with all of her cousins! Travis and I enjoyed the late night story-telling about what we've all been up to with our family....

Pony!
George Washington, fireworks, the Star-Spangled-Banner... it was a very merry Fourth of July for the Tebo family. We drove to Mt. Vernon, the home of George Washington, and braved the 100 degree heat. We got there about 10 am and left around 2:30. We watched people become US citizens, listened to a band play American music, experienced fireworks (during the day time-- who knew?), and learned about George Washington's life. Gabby asked great questions about war and the significance of George Washington. Isabelle was a real trooper too. We went back to the hotel for a swim, bath time, and dinner. Love my family!
