Miss Gabriella has a summer birthday (June 28th) so we celebrated her birthday a little earlier in her classroom. She'll have a bigger party when we're in Washington this summer, but eventually she'll choose where she wants her big party (China or the States). It would be crazy to have two big parties every year! The class sang "Happy Birthday" in English and Chinese and ate yummy gluten free cupcakes with M&Ms on top. We passed-out coloring/sticker books to all her classmates and Gabby got to wear the "Happy Birthday" crown, which she was quite proud of.

Gabby's class has been experimenting with abstract art... They displayed the pieces outside the classroom. I think hers turned-out pretty cool.

The potted plant stage has passed, and we are now into the rolling all over stage... Love her!

Some other updates:
- Cooing and blowing raspberries (so much that spit gets everywhere!)
- At her four month check-up she was 26 inches (90th percentile) and 13 pounds (50th percentile)
- Got over her first poopy sickness... Gabby had the same thing but I think we're at the end of the tunnel now
- She's getting stronger and stronger and her face is changing all the time. I don't really worry about her head anymore, she never really had a floppy head anyway...
- She LOVES to be sung to and gushes whenever I sing to her- clearly she doesn't know mom is tone deaf. Ha!
- Lights-up when Gabby is around!
- Is giggling now which is so awesome
- She has a nice disposition... very sweet, calm, and easy-going. But man, when she's hungry- she'll let you know!

My little sporty girl had a blast at Field Day. It was unusally chilly that day but she still had fun. I made her homemade gluten free popsicles so that she would have the same thing as everyone else... she said they were really yummy!

Isabelle Rolls Over on Tummy

My friend, Alex, came over to drop off Emily and was asking if Isabelle had rolled over on her belly yet... Right after she left, I went to the kitchen and came back to find Isabelle laying on her tummy. Fist time!

She went to bed at 7:30 pm and woke up at 5:30 am. WOHOO!

The best sound in the world is hearing your baby giggle... Isabelle did this today and it was so awesome. Travis, Gabriella, and Chen were all there to listen. I was kissing her tummy and face and she let one out.. so awesome.We quickly got the camera and video, but alas, did not quite capture the moment. Oh well.
