Isabelle Rolls Over on Tummy
My friend, Alex, came over to drop off Emily and was asking if Isabelle had rolled over on her belly yet... Right after she left, I went to the kitchen and came back to find Isabelle laying on her tummy. Fist time!

Isabelle's First Laugh
The best sound in the world is hearing your baby giggle... Isabelle did this today and it was so awesome. Travis, Gabriella, and Chen were all there to listen. I was kissing her tummy and face and she let one out.. so awesome. We quickly got the camera and video, but alas, did not quite capture the moment. Oh well.

Gabby's School Performance
Proud Mama!
This is the ISB School Song
I LOVE this! It brought a tear
to my eye when the kids sang it...
See words below...
EC-3 Kids Recited Poetry
Gabby was so happy to see us!
Gabby's line: "Loud, Polkadots!"
Gabby Throwing Fireworks
Our little performer got her first chance to showcase her loud voice! She did an awesome job and I could tell she was having a blast!
ISB School Song
Little children from Beijing,
we can learn and play and sing.
We are happy in Shunyi.
We are as clever as can be.
Our spirit strengthens as we go
It will remain when we are gone
Spreading our wings so we can fly
What we do now will shape our lives
From many countries we all come
But here we all unite as one
As Dragons in the sky we soar
Wearing blue and white for evermore.
Royal Wedding!
My good friend, Stephen Brown, captured this moment in time... Having a glass of champagne, eating Mexican food, holding my daughter with tears in my eyes, and watching the royal wedding of Will and Kate... It was night time in Beijing when this happened live, which was pretty convenient. I love this royal stuff so I was totally into it. I remember being a little girl and watching Princess Diana get married, so it was really special to me that I could watch it with my little girls... I hope Gabby remembers it as well. I know I will...

Easter 2011
Easter was awesome this year!
We attended two Easter parties-both including Easter egg hunts, prizes, games, and crafts. For both parties the weather was incredible! Blue skies and clean air... Low/Mid 70's...
There are lots of great things about having a family but one of them is starting your own traditions.... In our family, the Easter Bunny hides the basket so on Easter morning you have to look for it. This year, he hid Gabby's basket in her play house. Next year, we'll start decorating our own hard-boiled eggs and we'll see what evolves over time... I love holidays!
While in the States, I took Gabriella to watch the movie, "Hop," and the Easter Bunny bought her a DVD all about how the Easter Bunny came to be a tradition. All in all, I think we did a good job indoctrinating some American traditions when it comes to Easter!

Isabelle is 3 Months Old
Isabelle is not a newborn anymore!
She's a Tall Drink of Water...
Three months old, or lovingly referred to as the "potted plant stage" because they don't really move much yet and you can sit them anywhere... is one of my favorite months. As a mom, I can say I survived the hardest part and now it'll get easier in some ways and harder in others... I can happily say, that I am getting much more sleep, though. Yay!
This month was full of changes! We got back from the States, Isabelle started taking a pacifier, we started supplementing with formula, and I went back to work- all within a couple of weeks. I am officially now a working mom with two kids. WOW! It's nuts but I wouldn't want it any other way.
